The Kasumi Damascus series Chef's knife 24 cm is designed for all cuts in the kitchen. It is the most necessary knife of a chef and the extension of his hand in the kitchen. Due to its length of 24 cm, it is used by cooks who prefer large knives.

Blade: Its blade is curved enough to allow full contact along the entire length with the cutting wood, for high-precision cuts, cuts of large materials and large quantities. It consists, as all Kasumi knives, of a central VGold 10 carbon steel hard alloy core, on which 32 sheets of SUS410 soft and hard steel are alternated, creating a hard blade, extremely sharp up to 15 ° and very resistant to oxidation and wear, with hardness 59-60 HRC.

Handle: The handle is made of pakkawood, a combination of layers of wood and resin, which secures on the metal of the knife (tang) with two stainless steel rivets.

Sumikama, one of Seki's oldest companies, is one of the most well-known companies for making high quality knives because it combines the highest technology with the handmade tradition of the old Japanese blacksmiths. "Kasumi" for the Japanese corresponds to "damascus" for the Europeans and refers to the way the knife is made, with a central hard metal core coated with layers of steel sheets, soft and hard alternately.

The handle, made from Pakkawood (layers of natural wood and resin), provides a secure, anatomical grip and is fully moisture-resistant. The Full Tang construction (the metal extends throughout the entire length of the handle) guarantees exemplary balance and robustness.
