1. General Conditions

MASTER OF BLADES is a specialized online store for knives, kitchen tools and kitchen accessories, operated through its website www.masterofblades.com by the e-commerce company OMNITRADE (A. Fornaro & Co OE), with registered office at Glyka Nera, Athens, Greece, VAT EL997866027, Koropi Tax Office, Registered number: 009406801000 within the special register of e-commerce suppliers kept by the Consumer’s General Secretariat, no 1111/13, and the following contact details: tel. +30 210 604 6284, email support@masterofblades.com.

MASTER OF BLADES aims at offering its customers high quality, specialized and carefully selected solutions for knives, kitchen tools and kitchen accessories. The company is always seeking new, original and reliable products, competitive prices and constant support, always with the utmost respect towards the customer.

Navigating through MASTER OF BLADES, as well as making any purchase or online contact with our company, means your unreserved acceptance of the present Terms and Conditions.

MASTER OF BLADES reserves the right to modify or renew without notice these Terms and Conditions of using its website and making transactions through its online store. It also assumes the responsibility of updating the website in the event of any modification of or addition to these Terms. It also reserves the right to modify, adjust or discontinue any individual function of this website at any time.

2. Payment Methods

You can pay for your order at MASTER OF BLADES using the available payment methods displayed at checkout.

a) Credit card. There are no extra charges by MASTER OF BLADES for credit card payments.

The beneficiary under which the charge on your credit card may be registered is “OMNITRADE”, the company that operates MASTER OF BLADES. In the event of cancellation or return of goods, the refund by MASTER OF BLADES will be made to the same credit card account used when paying for your order.

b) Debit card. There are no extra charges by MASTER OF BLADES for debit card payments.

Credit and debit card payments on MASTER OF BLADES are processed securely through certified third party payment providers. After finalizing your order, you may be transferred to a secure payment environment where you will be asked to enter your card details. These details are not communicated to MASTER OF BLADES and are not stored by MASTER OF BLADES.

The beneficiary under which the charge on your debit card may be registered is “OMNITRADE”, the company that operates MASTER OF BLADES. In the event of cancellation or return of goods, the refund by MASTER OF BLADES will be made to the same debit card account used when paying for your order.

c) PayPal. There are no extra charges by MASTER OF BLADES for payments made through PayPal.

If you hold a PayPal account, you may use it for your purchases from MASTER OF BLADES. After completing your online order, you may be transferred to PayPal’s secure environment where you will be asked to enter your account details and confirm your order.

The beneficiary under which the charge on your account may be registered is “OMNITRADE”, the company that operates MASTER OF BLADES. In the event of cancellation or return of goods, the refund by MASTER OF BLADES will be made to the same PayPal account used when paying for your order.

3. Delivery of the Goods

We will dispatch your order by DHL and/or UPS to the following countries:

Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States.

Some exclusions may apply to specific products.

We will dispatch your order by Aramex to the following countries:

United Arab Emirates, Oman.

Shipping costs and delivery options are calculated after you add the products to your cart and fill in the order destination. Shipping costs depend on the weight, volume, value of the ordered products and the shipping destination.

Free Shipping

Free shipping applies to orders over €200 with shipping weight or volume of less than 15kg to the following countries:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.

Free shipping also applies to orders over €200 with shipping weight or volume of less than 3kg to the following countries:

Albania, Canada, Iceland, Serbia, Turkey, United States.

Duty Fees

Applicable only for countries outside the European Union.

Please note that we are not responsible for any duty fees associated with customs at the time of arrival to your country or any delays or other issues related to the destination country’s customs offices.

The shipping company, such as DHL, may charge an extra fee for processing customs clearance. If you have any doubts or concerns, please contact your local customs office and/or your local courier branch before placing your order.

4. Cancellation, Return of Goods, Guarantee

a) Cancellation. If you have validated your order and it has not yet been dispatched, you can still cancel it if you so wish. Please provide us with notice in writing to MASTER OF BLADES.

If you have already settled your order by credit card or PayPal, the refund will be made directly to the corresponding account. In any case, the refund will be executed within 15 days following your written statement. Alternatively, the amount to be refunded can be kept as a credit balance for your next order, should you so prefer.

b) Replacements. MASTER OF BLADES accepts product replacements under the following conditions: i) Send us your replacement request within 30 days from delivery date. ii) The products must be intact in their original packing and remain unused. iii) The products must be accompanied by the corresponding sales document, for example sales receipt. iv) You assume the responsibility and transport charges for the return of the products to the following address: OMNITRADE, 29 Lavriou Ave., 15354 Glyka Nera, Athens, Greece. Returns through Greek Post (ELTA) will not be accepted.

c) Returns and Withdrawal Right. MASTER OF BLADES accepts returns of products purchased through its website, regardless of the reason for you doing so, by submission of a written statement and under the following conditions: i) Send us your return request within 30 days from delivery date. ii) The products must be intact in their original packing and remain unused. iii) The products must be accompanied by the corresponding sales document, for example sales receipt. iv) You assume the responsibility and transport charges for the return of the products to the following address: OMNITRADE, 29 Lavriou Ave., 15354 Glyka Nera, Athens, Greece. Returns through Greek Post (ELTA) will not be accepted.

If you have already settled your order by credit card or PayPal, the refund will be made directly to the corresponding account. In any case, the refund will be executed within 15 days following reception of the returned goods to the above mentioned address.

Returns of gifts offered for advertising purposes or as part of an offer combined with another product will not be accepted. In such an event, the products will be returned to the sender at their own expense.

d) Optimal Delivery Guarantee. Every order is packed in the best possible way to ensure the safety of the products during transport. If, however, items within packaging are delivered faulty or damaged, please notify us within 2 working days from delivery date and MASTER OF BLADES will replace the items without any cost for you.

The Optimal Delivery Guarantee does not restrict your rights with respect to the legal guarantee and the commercial guarantee as described below.

e) Liability of the Seller and Supplier’s Warranty. All products by MASTER OF BLADES are covered by a two-year legal guarantee according to the corresponding provisions of the Civil Code.

More specifically, in the event of an actual defect or lack of contracted property of the product you purchased through MASTER OF BLADES, you may: a) ask for a repair at no cost for you, or for its replacement with another one unless this is not possible or would incur disproportionate expenses, b) ask for a price decrease, c) withdraw, unless it concerns a non essential actual defect. For a property to be considered as contracted, a relevant written agreement is required. The above mentioned obligations do not apply if the defect was caused by you, or by force majeure. In any case, the products must be accompanied by all necessary relevant commercial documents and delivery notes.

If there are any defects in the goods you have purchased through MASTER OF BLADES, please let us know. MASTER OF BLADES explicitly reserves the right for its competent staff to inspect the product before confirming it as defective.

For the products accompanied by commercial guarantee, responsible for the period covered by it is the manufacturer or the company importing this product in the EU, or the company appearing as the manufacturer.

5. Ownership of Rights

All intellectual property rights, such as all content of the website www.masterofblades.com, images, graphics, pictures, sketches, texts etc remain reserved to OMNITRADE and are protected by the provisions of Greek law, European law and international conventions. Any use, copy, recording, reproduction, distribution or processing of part or all of the contents in any form, notwithstanding the reason or means, is prohibited without written permission or approval by OMNITRADE.

Names, photos, logos and trademarks representing MASTER OF BLADES are exclusive marks and distinctive features of MASTER OF BLADES and OMNITRADE and are protected by Greek, European and International laws on trademarks, industrial and intellectual property and unfair competition rights. In any case, their presence and exposure on MASTER OF BLADES web pages should not be taken for any reason whatsoever as a transfer or granting of authorization or of the right to use them.

6. Disclaimer

MASTER OF BLADES makes every effort to provide the best possible and timely service for its customers. However, it bears no responsibility for any damage that can occur from the execution or non-execution of their orders or any delayed delivery of merchandise in cases of force majeure. MASTER OF BLADES bears no responsibility whatsoever for any legal, civil or penal demands from its website visitors or for acts or omissions by third parties affecting products available through its website.

MASTER OF BLADES makes no warranties as to the availability of its products, but it guarantees providing its customers timely information about any unavailable products.

MASTER OF BLADES does its best to ensure that it only shows complete and pertinent information on its website www.masterofblades.com, however it will not be liable for any operational or typing errors. If you notice a product price that seems unreasonably low, without any special citation explaining this, please contact us before ordering this item.

If you so wish, you may subscribe to our newsletter and keep updated with our news, suggestions, promotions and other information about our products and services. Your subscription is made with your free and clear approval, either during the order process or by registering your email in one of the relevant forms on our website.

Creating an Account

If you so wish, you may create a user account on our website. By doing so, you may shop online without having to register your details every time. You may also follow the status of your current order, consult the history of your orders and process the list of your favourite products.
