The cutting board is made of HINOKI, a type of wood found mainly in Japan. It is characterized by being very light and containing polysaccharides that prevent the growth of bacteria. Its soft texture protects the knife edge from constant nicks and therefore from frequent sharpening. It is available in four different sizes depending on requirements. It is recommended to wash them by hand and not in the dishwasher. If detergent must be used, only chemical-free detergents should be used. Finally, after washing, leave it leaning on its side to dry faster.
