The Hammered Series by Kasumi represents the bridge between Western functionality and Japanese knifemaking. Designed with a symmetrical V-edge profile (Western style), it is ideal for professionals and culinary enthusiasts seeking versatility, precision, and durability for heavy daily use.

The blades feature a hard, high-carbon VGold 10 (VG-10) steel core clad with a protective layer of SUS410 stainless steel. Compressed under a 300-ton press, it delivers a tough blade (59-60 HRC) with a sharp 15° edge and wear resistance. The textured surface offers premium aesthetics and acts as a non-stick shield during slicing.

The handle is crafted from POM polyacetal and resin polymer, providing a low friction coefficient and absolute resistance in wet environments, securely fastened to the full tang with two stainless steel rivets.
