The blades are hand-sharpened by expert craftsmen in Seki, Japan, a city renowned for its centuries-old blade-making tradition. This innovative design allows for more precise and effortless slicing than traditional V-shaped or single-bevel blades.

The Western-style handle, made from durable Pakka wood, offers a secure, comfortable grip and excellent control during use.
