The S1 Super Stone is a series of sharpening stones specially designed for a perfect finish. These stones provide a high polishing effect and maximum sharpness to your knife blade, while remaining flat and unchanged for a long time. They offer a similar experience to sharpening with soft natural stones. They are ideal even for sharpening hard carbon steel.

In the Super Stone series, the stone requires very little soaking time—often, just spraying it is enough. Aluminum oxide (corundum) is the material used as the abrasive. The S1 marking indicates a stone thickness of 1 cm.
