The nakiri knife is the traditional Japanese vegetable knife. Apart from its signature flat tip, its straight blade touches the cutting board entirely in one motion. The length of the blade is ideal for chopping even in a smaller kitchen space, while its lightweight design makes it comfortable for prolonged use.

A blade that stands out The knife’s blade is made of Damascus stainless steel, renowned through the centuries for its sharpness and durability, as well as the distinctive "waves" that give each knife a truly unique appearance. Specifically, the blade core consists of the innovative Japanese stainless steel alloy VG10, known for its hardness thanks to the cobalt it contains, encased in alternating layers of Damascus steel—enhancing the knife’s strength and toughness. Each knife in the series is hand-sharpened by skilled Japanese craftsmen on both sides at 15°, ensuring you receive an ultra-sharp knife.
