Yaxell blades are heated in a kiln to a very high temperature and then ice hardened. Then they are again tempered using high temperature to make the blade strong and durable with long-lasting perfomance. At the same time, this special heat treatment makes the blade corrosion resisstant.

Damascus steel knives began to be made in the Middle Ages in Japan and are legendary for their very durable and sharp blades. Their blade consists of a central core of hard VG10 carbon steel alloy on which steel sheets are folded, creating a blade that is hard, extremely sharp up to 15° and very resistant to oxidation and wear.
