Ketu by Yaxell

Handcrafted in Seki, Japan, the Yaxell Ketu collection features 3-layer stainless steel blades with an SG2 powder steel cutting core. Subjected to a specialized heat treatment process, the blades in this series reach a hardness of 63 HRC, providing long-lasting edge retention and durability. The upper part of the blades features a stamped hammer pattern designed to facilitate smooth food release. The entire collection is equipped with black beech pakkawood handles, which offer excellent moisture resistance and are accented by a traditional Samurai family crest mosaic pin. Unlike traditional stamping, each knife is finished with a beautifully added convex Yaxell kanji logo on the metal end cap.
