Superior by MAC

The MAC Superior Series features thin blades measuring 2.0-2.5mm, designed to reduce wedging into cuts while providing a slightly stiffer feel compared to the Original Series. The blades are constructed from high-carbon AUS 8 steel with Molybdenum for oxidation resistance, and they undergo an additional processing step called sub-zero tempering to reach a hardness of 60 HRC for improved edge retention. Hand-shared on both sides at approximately 15° by craftsmen in Seki, Japan, each knife features the patented hybrid "MAC Edge". Carried over from the Original series for improved knuckle clearance, safety, and storage, the knives incorporate an elevated handle, a rounded tip, and a hanging hole in the blade. The collection is fitted with slightly larger, ergonomic handles made of durable Pakkawood that is highly resistant to kitchen conditions.
