The Tora series knives are classic Japanese-style knives with a light wooden handle and heavy blade, for users who are well aware of cutting techniques.

Its blade is made of Molybdenum vanadium steel (AUS8) with Rockwell 58HRC hardness, extremely sharp up to 26 °, very resistant to oxidation and wear.

The handle is made of magnolia wood coated with curable epoxy resin (black), in the shape of Japanese style, with protective O-ring, easy to hold, waterproof and non-combustible.

"Kasumi" for the Japanese corresponds to "damaskus" for the Europeans and refers to the way the knife is made, with a central hard metal core coated with layers of steel sheets, soft and hard alternately. Despite Kasumi Tora series reasonable price range, it is a kitchen knife that is recommended for those who are new to Japanese kitchen knives because of its reliable quality and easy maintenance.
