The Damascus series by Kasumi represents the ultimate intersection of centuries-old Japanese tradition and modern gastronomy. Crafted in Seki, Japan—the historical home of Katana swords—by the renowned Sumikama Hamono, these knives stand out for their premium aesthetics and surgical precision.

Featuring a powerful core of top-tier VG-10 steel (59-60 HRC hardness), protected by 32 layers of stainless steel. This technique gives the blade its unique wave-like pattern, exceptional flexibility, and an incredibly sharp edge (up to 15°).

The handle, made from Pakkawood (layers of natural wood and resin), provides a secure, anatomical grip and is fully moisture-resistant. The Full Tang construction (the metal extends throughout the entire length of the handle) guarantees exemplary balance and robustness.
