The blade is constructed from sub-zero AUS 8 steel, featuring a high carbon content for increased hardness and Molybdenum for resistance to oxidation. The steel is processed using MAC's sub-zero method for added hardness, and each knife is hand-sharpened by Japanese craftsmen in Seki. The collection features ergonomic handles made of Pakkawood, a highly durable material under kitchen conditions, shaped to ensure a secure grip during use.
